The submission deadline for the 2013 Canadian Congress on Criminal Justice has been extended until November 30th.
This conference has deep roots. Organized by the Canadian Criminal Justice Association, the first Congress was in 1929 in Toronto. These national gatherings have been happening for more than eighty years. In fact, sometimes I’ll go to a branch meeting and hear someone reminisce, “Eh, remember the 22nd Congress?”
The Canadian Criminal Justice Association is an old organization.
It needs to modernize itself, but I’ll write more about that later.
